The brief
A distributor of electrical materials ran offers, quotations, and client follow-up out of spreadsheets and phone calls. The sales team needed one place to build an offer, track its status, and see a client's history without waiting on someone else to update a file.
What it does
- Client and offer management: create a quotation, attach line items, track status from draft to sent to accepted
- Authentication and per-user permissions, so the sales team works concurrently without stepping on each other's changes
- Real-time data sync — an offer updated by one user is current for everyone else immediately, no refresh required
How it's built
Next.js on the frontend, a Node.js API, and Supabase/PostgreSQL for the data layer and realtime subscriptions. Deployed to Vercel with zero-downtime releases, so a new version ships without interrupting the sales team mid-day.
The client asked for the company name and the live URL to stay off the public portfolio — this page respects that.
